The Delta Pharmacy project on East Bay in downtown Charleston was the recipient of a 2022 Carolopolis Award for New Construction from The Historic Preservation Society of Charleston. The Carolopolis Award program celebrates and honors the best examples of historic preservation throughout the Lowcountry. Now in its 69th year, the award celebrates the community’s support of and commitment to preserving the city’s most historic buildings. 

Designed by The Middleton Group, the project was celebrated for its clever reimagining of a building which resembled a corner store and home that stood on the same corner more than half a century ago. Red Bay Constructors was fortunate to be part of the project team, providing concrete foundations, slabs, CMU, brick waterproofing and stucco for this project.
